New Treatment Promises to Correct HIV Induced Facial Wasting

Manhattan, New York, March 22, 2004 - HIV patients are living longer then ever through the advent of several new classes of anti-viral medications. These medications including the class of anti-viral protease inhibitors have been thought to be implicated in producing side effects that can cause loss of fat and redistribution of fat in various areas of the body of HIV infected patients.
